Thirty five years in the Film Business, designing for incredibly talented and diverse directors, winning awards, all has fueled Dan’s burning desire to produce films that enhance the lives of the audience and the film crew.

Edgar Pablos

Producer – Director

Edgar Pablos learned his craft while assisting notable directors, like Joe Dante, Mike Figgis, and Antoine Fuqua. He has directed his own award-winning short film, AGUA DULCE. Now he creates documentaries and commercials for prominent national organizations.

Edward Kovach

Writer

Edward has written or co-written some 40 screenplays, under various pen names. Eight of the scripts have been produced, more have been optioned. As “Ed Kovacs” he authors the critically-acclaimed Cliff St. James mystery/crime series published by St. Martin’s Press.

Hillary Pierce

Social Impact Producer

Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker and impact producer with deep Texas-border experience. She has produced films rooted in social issues, including The River and the Wall (reflecting border stories) and At the Ready (exploring policing, identity, and community near the Texas–Mexico border). She specializes in strategic impact campaigns, community partnerships, sponsorships, and screenings. Hillary lives in Austin and Marfa, Texas.

Jim Dooley

Composer

Jim Dooley is our composer, on board to write a beautiful score for Angel Lady. He won critical acclaim for “A Series of Unfortunate Events” and an Emmy for “Pushing Daisies.”

Kak Lee

Cinematographer

Kak Lee journey began in Laos and refugee camps in Thailand before emigrating to the United States. He started his career at a cable access station in Merced, CA, and holds a BA in Film Studies from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and an MFA in Cinematography from Chapman University. He has shot short films, music videos, industrial films, documentaries, and features, always focused on crafting compelling visual narratives.

David Rosiles

As a webmaster and member of our website development team, David brings a wealth of experience to our projects. He is responsible for creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites while also ensuring that the content resonates with the community, he’s also is the host of the Angel Lady Movie podcast for Hispanic audiences.

An extremely gifted, versatile performer adept at both comedy and drama, actress/singer Katey Sagal became a household name in the late 1980s as the fabulously brazen, undomesticated Peg Bundy on the enduring Fox series Married… with Children (1987). During its lengthy run she received three Golden Globe and two American Comedy Award nominations.

Alma Martínez

“Doña María”
Alma holds a Ph.D. in Drama from Stanford, an M.F.A. in Acting from the USC and a B.A. in Theatre from Whittier College. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, has acted on Broadway, and in Regional Theaters across the country.

Mimi Kennedy

Best known to television viewers as a series regular on two Chuck Lorre hit comedies: “Dharma & Greg” (5 seasons) and “Mom” (8 seasons). She garnered a Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of Marjorie in Season 1 of “Mom” before becoming a series regular in Season 2.
