Interview with Julie Bowers VanCoutren and Deanna Prescott of New Orleans, who have made it their mission with Raise The Woof Nola to ensure that no animal endures the pain of neglect, abuse or long-term shelter life unnecessarily. They personally pull dogs from shelters and transition them back into homes to ensure successful lifelong adoptions. Their goal is to save the lives of dogs around Louisiana by promoting community programs such as spay/neuter, heart worm testing and prevention and most importantly adoption and foster.

A chat with Jacqui Rose of Nola Cans 4 Food – an inspiring organization that collects empty aluminum cans and clean containers. They recycle the cans for cash, and use the cash to buy and cook meals to distribute in the re-usable containers to the New Orleans Community Fridges and unhoused people in the city.
Sidney Smith is a 25 year old candle maker at 1820 Candle Co. She works alongside her mother, Melissa Smith, founder and owner of 1820 Candle Co, located in downtown East Palestine, Ohio since 2009. The original creations started in the 1820 family farm house in 2004. Hence the name, 1820House.com
Sidney has lived in East Palestine all 25 years of her life and has no plans on changing that. “Growing up in this community has taught me a lot about showing love and support for your neighbors. Our community has a lot to offer and I hope that I emphasize that in this interview. Know that we love each and every one of you that have showed support for our community!”
